My name is Linda Mazibuko & my culinary experience started when I was as young as 5 years old. When I finished school I studied at Wits University & dropped out halfway through my second year to attend culinary school (2011-2013). I finished top 5 in my class and secured a job as a demonstration chef at the Pick n Pay on William Nicol after graduation. I then received an opportunity to go a work at the Kempinski Hotel in Qatar where I refined my skills. When I came back to SA I competed in Top Chef SA season 1 & finished in the top 7. I later worked as an Executive Sous Chef at The Orbit: Home of Jazz in Braamfontein. I then began pursuing a career as a private chef by working for a high profile family. In 2018 I was invited to Türkiye to represent SA & Madagascar for a special project called Chef’s & Jars. I continued to work as a private chef for penthouses and villas around JHB then fast forward to 2023 I was invited to Ghana to be a guest Chef at The Mix Restaurant. I am currently a mobile Private Chef based in SA.
